Meeting Questions
This feature provides the host, or optionally an individual participant, with their own personal pop-up window where they can type questions regarding the current meeting, and Zoom AI Companion will provide an answer.
The Meeting Host, Alternate Host, or Co-Host can enable / disable In-Meeting Questions and limit access to either Only hosts, All participants only from when they join, or All participants.
Configure settings for In-Meeting Summary on the Zoom Web Portal at Zoom Web Portal at https://berkeley.zoom.us/profile/setting → AI Companion → Meeting.
Enable Meeting Questions During a Zoom Call
The meeting Host, Alternate Host, or Co-Host will see the AI Companion icon in their Zoom toolbar.
Select Ask Meeting Questions to enable the feature,
Alternatively, select Turn on all will enable both Meeting Summary and In-Meeting Questions
To limit access to either Only hosts, All participants only from when they join, or All participants, click on the ^ symbol next to the AI Companion icon.
Once enabled, you will see a blinking icon in either corner of their upper left or right Zoom window. This difference is based on MacOS or Windows OS.
Disable Meeting Questions During a Zoom Call
The meeting Host, Alternate Host, or Co-Host will see the AI Companion icon in their Zoom toolbar.
Select Turn off to disable the feature,
A pop up window will give you the option to Delete meeting assets along with disabling the feature.
Alternatively, select Ask meeting questions to reveal the Meeting Questions panel.
Click on Turn off at the top of the panel. Then a new pop up window will give you the option to Turn off the feature.
Participant Meeting Questions Options
When Zoom AI features are enabled, meeting participants will see a blinking icon in either corner of their upper left or right Zoom window. This difference is based on MacOS or Windows OS.
By clicking on the blinking icon , participants can disable their Zoom AI Companion features.
Note: Disabling features will not impact the host or other participants.
When only Meeting Questions is enabled, clicking the blinking icon will reveal the following panel:
