With contact group lists you can easily organize your contacts, making it easier to email a specific set of people.
To Create a Contact Group in bMail
1. Log into bmail.berkeley.edu and click on Contacts.
2. Select New Group from list on left
3. Name the group
4. Select the contacts you wish to group together and click on the group icon.
5. Select the group you just created or another from the list. You can also choose Create New and you will be prompted to name the new group.
- To send an email to your new Contact Group simply type the name of the group in the address field. Please note that addresses in the To and CC fields are visible to all recipients. If you wish to hide the addresses of your Contact Group, send to your list as a Bcc. See this article for more info: How to suppress/hide email recipients
