Visiting scholars, visiting student researchers, consultants or other guests to UC Berkeley can access the open wireless network, CalVisitor, for internet access from any wifi enabled device. Another option is if a visiting scholar's home school takes part in the Eduroam program, they may use their home credentials to access the Eduroam wifi network. For limited access to bCourses and a select few other campus services, they may also be provisioned with a CalNet Guest Account.

Before you begin

To access CalVisitor

  1. When on campus, access available wifi networks from any applicable device.
  2. Select CalVisitor from the list of available wifi networks.
