When you get a new smartphone with the same phone number, you will need to reactivate the device from the Duo Control Panel in order to use it for 2-Step.

Go to mycalnet.berkeley.edu and click Login in the upper right corner.

Log in with your CalNet credentials, and if prompted, do a 2-Step. If you need help doing a 2-Step, email calnet2-stephelp@berkeley.edu.

When you are logged in:

  1. Select Manage 2-Step.
  2. At the Device Control Panel, select a device to perform another 2-Step to access the panel. You'll be taken to My Settings and Devices.
  3. From there, click on Device Options next to the device on which you need to reactivate Duo.
  4. Click on Reactivate Duo Mobile to display a QR code.
  5. Open Duo Mobile on your phone, click the Plus symbol which activates the camera feature and then scan the QR code.

Note: If you have set up a secondary device, you may use that to authenticate. If you don’t have backup passcodes or a secondary device, please contact calnet2-stephelp@berkeley.edu to get help.
