As of January 6, 2026, the Zoom to Kaltura integration will no longer copy all Zoom Cloud Recordings to Kaltura. It will only do so for those that have enabled the integration.
To prepare for this change, you can enable the integration now. Doing so will have no impact on the way the integration works between now and January 6, but will ensure that everything will work correctly on and after January 6.
Please enable the integration only if you need it for instructional purposes; RTL reserves the right to remove users who are not using the integration for academic purposes.
To enable the Zoom to Kaltura integration:
- Go to your Kaltura profile page (you’ll be prompted to log in via CalNet).
- From the vertical ellipses icon (which you’ll find to the right of the Edit Profile button), choose “Copy Zoom Cloud to Kaltura (instructional use only)” and then “Yes”.
Once “Yes” is checked, you will be included in the list of users for whom the integration will work starting on January 6.
Note: If you are unable to complete step 2, please email kalturahelp@berkeley.edu with your request to continue to be a user of the Zoom to Kaltura integration.
