Starting on March 15, 2021 there will be a new Campus Access Badge available in the Berkeley mobile app and in the Portal system.

The Campus Access badge is a consolidation of separate policies which govern whether you have approval to come to campus.

  1. Campus Community Screening is required for those who will be on-site at UC facilities.
  2. COVID Vaccine Policy will go into effect on July 15, 2021 with enforcement beginning on August 4, 2021, two weeks before the UC Berkeley fall term begins.
  3. COVID Training is mandatory for people who need to come to UC facilities.
    • Title: EHS 207 UC Berkeley Guidelines on Protecting Workers From COVID-19 (Revised 7/7/21)
    • Course Code: BEEHS207-UCB_ COVID-19-210707
    • You can take the training at the UC Learning Site
  4. The Daily Symptom Screener certificate is necessary before stepping on campus.
