If you've very recently graduated from UC Berkeley and are enrolling as a graduate student while still in your grace period after graduation, you may see a message saying you are not eligible for a bConnected account, even though you are eligible.

There are three possible solutions, in order of ease of completion.

1) Claim your alumni email account by following instructions on the Alumni Email Service page. This will give you immediate access to your existing account.

2) Accept your offer of admission. Once your acceptance is processed you will become eligible for a bMail account.

3) Submit a ticket to the bConnected team and explain that you recently graduated and have enrolled in graduate school and you are receiving an error message that says you are not eligible for a bMail account, even though you should be eligible.
