Wi-Fi Issues with Apple Devices

Software updates on Apple devices such as laptops and smartphones, especially on newer models (e.g. with M1/M2 chip), are known to create issues connecting to Wi-Fi for some users at numerous institutions of higher education. We know of two workarounds at this time that have made Wi-Fi more stable for some affected users:
  • Disabling the Bluetooth on your device
  • Setting AirDrop to “allow me to be discovered by: no one”
