As the bConnected key is being discontinued, SPAs using an application or program that is unable to OAuth or use CalNet Authentication can request access to create a Google App Password. 

To get access and create a Google AppPassword:

 

  1. Request access by going to https://forms.gle/WVKySL8Yjjro9cvd8. This form must be submitted by the SPA requesting access. You will receive an email notification once your SPA has been given access. 
  2. Logging in as the SPA, follow the Google directions to:
    1. Turn on 2-Step Verification: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185839
    2. Create and use App Passwords: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833
