For Zoom Cloud recordings created on or after January 6, 2021 8am

You will need to:

  1. Wait until the recordings appear in your My Media. (Your recordings are automatically copied from the Zoom Cloud to your Kaltura My Media, assuming you have a Kaltura account. They should appear shortly after you stop recording in Zoom; this can sometimes be minutes but at other times may take several hours.)

  2. Share the recordings. You have a variety of ways to do this, all documented in How do I share media in Kaltura within bCourses?

Other things you may want to know how to do:

For Zoom Cloud recordings created prior to January 6, 2021 8am

You will need to:

  1. Download these recordings to your hard disk. (For more info on downloading these recordings, follow the instructions in "How do I download my Zoom Cloud recordings?")

  2. Upload the media to Kaltura; see "How do I upload media to My Media?"

  3. Share the recordings. You have a variety of ways to do this, all documented in How do I share media in Kaltura within bCourses?

For Zoom recordings that were saved to your hard disk (not the Zoom Cloud)

You will need to:

  1. Locate the files on your hard disk.
By default, recordings are placed in a Zoom folder in Documents:
    PC: C:\Users\User Name\Documents\Zoom
    Mac: /Users/User Name/Documents/Zoom
    local recording navigation (documents/zoom folder)
  2. Upload the media to Kaltura; see "How do I upload media to My Media?"
