  1. Open the App Store and search for “GlobalProtect”, it is listed under Business applications
    • If your device is running iOS v12 or newer you need to install "GlobalProtect" GlobalProtect Icon
    • If your device is running iOS v11 or older you need to install "GlobalProtect Legacy" GlobalProtect Legacy Icon

  1. When the installation is complete open / launch GlobalProtect, the icon is a globe with a shield.

  1. If you have not had a VPN product installed on your device before the client will inform you that it is activating the functionality and you have to touch OK to continue.

  1. You will be brought to the settings page.

  1. Touch the line labeled Portal and enter “” (without the quotes)

  1. Touch the Connect button, you will be taken to the standard CalNet authentication page followed by the Duo authentication page.

  1. If you successfully connect you will be taken to the status screen.
  2. You can disconnect, or change which connection you are using on the Home screen

When you want to use the VPN in the future, launch the GlobalProtect client and then select which VPN you wish to use. That will start the authentication process through CalNet. Due to a limitation in the way iOS supports the Duo login screen users are unable to select the "Remember me for 30 days" option. It is recommended that the Duo authentication software be installed on the same device as GlobalProtect so the user can quickly approve the connection without having to work with other devices.
