Service Catalog - at the request of the IST Service Catalog team, visual design elements have been created for all IST Service Catalog items that reflect design continuity between the ServiceNow Service Catalog items and the IT Service Catalog at technology.berkeley.edu.
Changes
Human Resources - the field “Target Start Date” was added to the staff recruitment case on the appointment tab.
Platform Security - disabling SQL error messages.
Platform Security - upload MIME type restrictions are enabled. For detailed information see the knowledge base article “Change: Validation of MIME types within ServiceNow".
Platform Security - SOAP content checking.
Platform Security - restricting access to system information.
Platform Security - remove “remember me” on local login page. Note: this will have no affect on SSO (CalNet) users.
Platform Security - validate XML external entity processing.
Platform Security - set complex values for default passwords. Note: this only affects non-SSO (CalNet) logins.
Platform Security - disabling embedded image conversions to prevent them from appearing in the email HTML body preview in the activity log. Emailed images will be available as attachments to the incident. this does not affect non-licensed users of ServiceNow.

Fixes
Human Resources - Bug: a client or watcher on a recruitment case was able to edit the “Target Start Date” field after the recruitment has been approved. This has been fixed.
Human Resources - Bug: on the staff recruitment form, when a submitter is responding to the question "Is this a new or existing position?”, and “Existing” is selected, the field to select the incumbent’s name is missing. This has been fixed.
Human Resources - Bug: on the general service request and staff recruitment forms the field “Effective Date” was incorrectly labeled as “Target Start Date”. This has been fixed.
Known Issues
Platform - Users with the share-group-filters role are no longer able to share filters with their group. This has been reported to the vendor and is a known issue. A fix is expected in the next major release from the vendor.
