Overview
The ServiceNow 5.4.0 release is planned for Saturday, August 5 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The principle component of this release is the vendor patch to Istanbul Patch 7 Hot Fix 1 from Istanbul Patch 5.
What’s New
We are upgrading to Istanbul Patch 7 Hot Fix 1. Users should see no interface changes with this release.
Fixes
The ServiceNow team will be pushing updates to the production server to support compatibility between the new release and previous local development.
Known Issues
Platform - Users with the share-group-filters role are no longer able to share filters with their group. This has been reported to the vendor and is a known issue. It is expected that this will be fixed in the next major release.
