Background
Some Perceptive Content (formerly ImageNow) users have reported that when they attempt to print to the ImageNow Printer:
- The source application (for example Word, Excel, etc.) freezes, or
- The ImageNow Printer dialog box does not appear and "nothing" happens.
According to Hyland, the product vendor, this could happen due to two reasons:
- Multiple Peernet Spooler services
- Antivirus software preventing the printing operation
Resolution
Please review attached pdf from the vendor which describes the resolution for each mentioned scenario. As a preview to the vendor pdf:
- Local admin rights are needed
- The old Peernet Spooler services have to be deleted
- If no old Peernet Soolers appear and no antivirus software is preventing the printing operation, then, it is necessary to uninstall and reinstall the client
