What’s New

Incident -  Adding a due date field on the incident form so that due dates can be requested and tracked for service requests. 2510

Changes

Platform - The additional comments field, "Please describe your issue below" on the incident form, "Something is broken - I need help (IT Incident)",  in the ESS portal is now required so that staff has the information they need to handle requests more efficiently. 2084

Platform - We have removed Title Casing rules from the nightly LDAP import so that user names have the same appearance as they do in the campus directory. 2543

Fixes 

HR Service Automation - An issue with submissions where the user shares a calnetID with an inactive user may result in the inactive user being picked when a ticket is created in ServiceNow has been addressed. 2484

HR Service Automation - Addresses an issue when the following steps are performed in an HR case: an ampersand ("&") is included the in close notes and saved, the case is reopened, and when attempting to complete it again, it fails to show the dialog box. 2471

incident - The indicator for VIPs now appears in the "My Work" view in the "Service Desk" application. 2511

Known Issues

HR Service Automation - An issue was discovered where multiple ampersands ("&") in close notes result in a failure to show the dialog box after a case has been saved and re-opened. This will be addressed in our next release.
