How to manage your ServiceNow notification preferences

The ServiceNow platform is preconfigured to send notifications for a variety of events and actions. Some notifications can be turned on or off, while others are mandatory and cannot be changed.

The following steps will outline the process of changing your notification preferences via the Employee Self Service (ESS) portal:

  1. Go to https://berkeley.service-now.com/ess/
  2. Click "Account Settings" in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
  3. Click Notification Preferences
  4. For a given notification, click the notification toggle to change status as needed
  5. Repeat step 3 until all notification toggles have been set to your preference
  6. Click Save
