Overview
The ServiceNow 3.13.0 release is planned for October 28, 2015. This release will occur during the regularly scheduled maintenance window.
What’s New
- Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- “COMET” has been added to the CMDB to support the IST Telecom go live.
- “Pinnacle” has been added to the CMDB to support the IST Billing go live.
- Incident Management
- Location detail will be automatically filled with a user’s room number from the campus directory if available. This will match the behavior of creating new incidents from the employee self service (ESS) portal.
- Platform
- You can right click on a form header or record in a list to open a printer friendly version of the record if you need to print it.
- Service Level Management
- Created new CSS-IT Priority 5 service level agreements (SLAs) for First Response, Inactivity, and Resolution. The new SLAs will only apply to organizations that currently use the existing CSS-IT SLAs.
Changes
- Knowledge Management
- Incidents flagged as knowledge candidates will be created as new knowledge base “KB” draft articles instead of submission “SUB” records.
