Overview
The ServiceNow release 3.11.0 will be released on September 23, 2015. This release will occur during the regularly scheduled maintenance window.
What’s New
- Incident
- Created functionality to support restricting visibility of incidents to arbitrary internal users and groups. This feature is a requirement for onboarding of certain IST groups.
- Service Catalog
- To support the IST Research IT on-boarding effort, the following service catalog items have been created:
- Request New Virtual Workstation Solution for Research Computing
- Research Computing HPC Cluster Access

- To support the IST Business Continuity on-boarding effort, the following service catalog items have been created:

- Self Service Portal
- Removed “Self-Service” link on the Employee Self Service (ESS) portal to support CSS customer experience requirements.
- Removed print icon on the Employee Self Service (ESS) portal as the behavior was not consistent after the 3.10.0 release.

- Fixed issue with ServiceNow site and tabs missing title “Service at UC Berkeley” after the 3.9.0 release.
- Service Catalog
- Fixed catalog item “Create a New Incident” to disallow unlimited short description length which gets truncated on submission.
