InvAR is a database program used by Contracts and Grants Accounting (CGA), formerly Extramural Funds Account (EFA). It is a legacy database that is accessed via RDP.

User Desktop Instructions

  1. Once your account has been permissioned for accessing the database, on the EFA G:\ drive, open the folder called "Pick Up Archive Shortcut"

  2. Create a shortcut to the folder "Invar Archive" (located in "G: Pick Up Archive Shortcut") on the client's desktop.

  3. Double click this shortcut to get to the central directory for all archive material (more will be added by Marilyn later).

  4. Double click on the *"Invar Archive" shortcut to start the application.  The first time you bring up the database, it will ask you if you want to Enable access, click on the Enable button.

    1. Approved to use with Microsoft Access 2010 and may also work with Access 2013
