How to Create a Google App Password

As the bConnected key is being discontinued, SPAs that use an application or program that is unable to OAuth or use CalNet Authentication can request access to create a Google App Password. 

To get access and create a Google AppPassword:

  1. Request access to by going to https://forms.gle/WVKySL8Yjjro9cvd8. This form must be submitted by the SPA requesting access. An email notification will delivered to the SPA once access is granted. 
  2. Logging in as the SPA, follow the Google directions to Create and use App Passwords: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833
