Ed Discussion is available in all courses and can be enabled on the Course Settings page.
1. Open Settings
In Course Navigation, click the Settings link.
2. Open Navigation
Select the Navigation tab.
3. Enable Navigation Links
To enable Ed Discussion, select the Options ⋮ icon then select the Enable button.
You can also drag and drop the link above the hidden section.
4. Save Navigation
Select the Save button.
