If you are a student and would like to change how your first name is listed in the Directory, you can log in to CalCentral to set your preferred first name. To change your last name, you must contact the University Registrar.
If you are an employee or student employee, the name on your employment record is the one that will be displayed in the Directory by default. You may set a preferred name in the directory update page that will take precedence over the name in your employment record.
Go to the CalNet Directory Update page, authenticate using your CalNet ID, and then select a Preferred Name by using the Edit Person Information button.
