Several steps can be taken to secure ones laptop or smartphone to keep unauthorized parties from accessing Box files on the device.
To secure a cellphone or laptop:
- Open / access the device.
- Navigate to the UC Berkeley Security article, Box Sync Guidelines.
- Apply the procedures as applicable.
