Are alumni or CAA members eligible for UC Berkeley Zoom accounts?
Unfortunately, Alumni and CAA members are not eligible for UC Berkeley Zoom accounts. Typically, access to all software, including Zoom accounts, expires shortly after graduation or separation from the university. Under the terms of our contract with Zoom, we only have a fixed number of Zoom accounts available to distribute, so licenses from alumni and former students are reclaimed when their grace period has expired.

How to create a personal Zoom account
You can create a personal Zoom account from: https://zoom.us/signup, but you will need to use an email address other than your @berkeley.edu address (including subdomain addresses like @astro.berkeley.edu) since this email domain is managed by the university.
