A.) Reset your passphrase using the self-service tool at CalNet Account Manager, mycalnet.berkeley.edu
Use the self-service CalNet Account Manager to reset your passphrase. Start by entering your recovery email address, or student or employee ID number to initiate the reset process. You can only use CalNet Account Manager if you have a recovery email address attached to your CalNet account. Here is the direct link for passphrase reset:

B.) If you are unable to use the self-service tool, email your full name, student or employee ID number and month and day of birth to calnet@berkeley.edu to request assistance.
C.) Visit the Cal 1 Card Office
The Cal 1 Card office can help you reset your passphrase if you are a student, faculty, staff, or affiliate. Cal1Card cannot assist guest account holders. You will be required to show photo ID to receive service in person at the Cal 1 Card office.
