Cloud recordings at UC Berkeley will automatically be deleted after 210 days.

Zoom allows you to recover a recording within 30 days of deletion.

Due to the nature of the University of California Office of President and Zoom contract, we have a cap on free Cloud Recording storage space and need to delete the recordings after a certain period of time.  We are monitoring the storage usage and may increase or decrease the retention time as needed.

We recommend you manage your recordings and download them before they delete automatically.  Remember to download them before you leave at the end of the semester.  The UC Berkeley Security team recommends that recordings which contain P4 data should not be stored in the cloud.
