Update: Zoom cloud recording retention period will be reset to 30 days at the conclusion of the Fall semester
Effective October 13, 2020 - Change temporarily on hold through conclusion of Fall Semester
In September, we publicized that the 30 day retention period for Zoom Cloud recordings would resume on October 20th; however, to ensure that students and instructors relying on Zoom Cloud recordings for fall semester are not adversely impacted, we will temporarily extend the retention period (to 120 days) so that recordings are not automatically deleted until after fall semester. Zoom Cloud recording is intended only for temporary use due to the extremely high costs of this storage.
Please help us conserve by avoiding the use of Zoom Cloud recordings whenever possible. See: IT - What are my recording and storage options for Zoom meetings and webinars? The retention period will be returned to 30 days at the conclusion of the Fall semester.
New: A Zoom to Kaltura integration will be in place for spring semester. For more details, see: https://dls.berkeley.edu/frequently-asked-questions-about-zoom-kaltura-integration
