Telecom is reviewing the Avaya Workplace service in Fall 2020. After running a pilot of the service in early January, we plan to begin making the Avaya Workplace solution widely available in the early part of 2021.
Avaya Workplace will allow you to:
- Seamlessly integrate with your campus Avaya phone number to make and receive phone calls from Avaya Workplace desktop and mobile apps, from any location, either on campus or while you’re working remotely
- IMPORTANT 911 NOTE: Please do not use Avaya Workplace Desktop to place 911 calls because the address received by 911 operators will be campus address, not your Desktop address.
- Avaya Workplace gives you the flexibility to use the telephone that works best for you whether you are in the office, at home, in a temporary office, or in a remote location
- Apps for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android are designed for ease of use while maximizing voice quality of service
- See a flyer for Avaya Workplace here
- Watch an Avaya Workplace video here.
Note: Not all phones are eligible for VoIP. Read more here.
Instructions to request the Avaya Workplace VoIP service will be added when the service is available to the campus in 2021.
