Files shared, created or otherwise owned by your UC Berkeley Box account are available as long as your CalNetID is active.
- CalNet Expiration depends on your appointment type with the University.

- Files in your Box Account are retained after the CalNetID has expired, but cannot be modified nor accessed unless they were shared.
Before expiration of ones CalNetID:
- Ownership of departmental files should be changed.
- Personal files should be downloaded to a personal computer or ownership changed to a personal Box account.
