Tech Support for Students (non-employee)

IT Client Services provides tech support to Faculty, Staff, Postdocs, Visiting Scholars, and Student Employees

Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The ITCS Helpdesk is available by phone, in person, or online (excluding University holidays and curtailment periods).

Student Tech Services (STS) provides free tech support to all graduate, professional and undergraduate students at UC Berkeley. 

Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Student Helpdesk is available by phone, in person, or via email (excluding University holidays and curtailment periods).

Drop-in IT support is available at the Academic Innovation Studio (AIS) in 117 Dwinelle Hall on Level D during the following hours.

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday | 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
  • Monday through Thursday | 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Friday | 1 - 3 p.m.

Students can access drop-in tech support at two locations on campus:

  • MLK Jr. Student Union - 2nd floor
  • Moffitt Library - 4th floor

Hours vary by location, view hours and join the virtual queue
