When you do a bCourses course import, as described in How do I copy content from another Canvas course using the Course Import tool?, the import does NOT include Media Gallery content. (Note that if your Canvas import includes content—Pages, Announcements, Assignment descriptions, etc—with embedded Kaltura media, the media will be embedded in the copied content.)

To import your Media Gallery from another course site, follow the steps listed in Import Channels Feature Description. Another option for putting previously used content into a new course site (in the case where you are an owner or a co-publisher of that media) is to simply publish that content to the new site using the steps in How do I publish media from My Media to a Media Gallery in bCourses?
