How do I install from a .iso file using Win7?
Some of the software products available on Software Central can be downloaded as .iso files. PC's running Windows 8/8.1/10 and Macs have the ability to access (mount) these files built in to their Operating Systems. PC's running Win7 do not have this ability so an additional tool must be used/installed. 7-zip and Virtual CD-ROM Control Panel are two utilities that can be used to mount .iso files.

In Windows 8, you can simply open an ISO file and Windows automatically assigns it a drive letter and reads it as a virtual drive."
