There are many methods available for you to use CalNet 2-Step, even if you do not own a smartphone:
- Students: You can pick up a free security key for use with CalNet 2-Step. To obtain a key, visit a Student Technology Services help desk in person.
- Employees and Affiliates: You can request a free security key by emailing calnet2-stephelp@berkeley.edu.
- Backup Passcodes: You can print or save single-use backup passcodes from mycalnet.berkeley.edu
