Avaya Workplace will allow you to:
- Seamlessly integrate with your campus Avaya phone number to make and receive phone calls from Avaya Workplace desktop and mobile apps, from any location, either on campus or while you’re working remotely
- IMPORTANT 911 NOTE: Do not use Avaya Workplace Desktop to place 911 calls as the system cannot identify your physical location on an internet device.
- Avaya Workplace gives you the flexibility to use the telephone that works best for you whether you are in the office, at home, in a temporary office, or in a remote location
- Apps for Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android are designed for ease of use while maximizing voice quality of service

Note: Not all phones are eligible for VoIP. Read more here.
To add Avaya Workplace to your existing phone line please submit a Service Request through the Telecom Catalog:
- Log into the Telecom Catalog
- on the left-nav select Service Catalog
- select Voice Services
- select Add Avaya Workplace VoIP to My Line
- Fill out the form
- After the request is fulfilled you will be sent the instructions on how to download and configure the application on your device.
