How do I upload media to My Media?

My Media is your personal media repository, no matter where you find it. Files in My Media are private to you unless you publish them.

To upload media to My Media:

1. Go to My Media
   
   
2. Click the Add New button and select Media Upload.
   
   
   
   The Upload Media page is displayed.
   
   
   
   
3. Drag in the media file from your computer's desktop OR click "Choose a file to upload", and use your computer's file chooser to locate the media file.
   
   
4. While the file is uploading, on the Upload Media page you can enter metadata about the media.
   
   
5. Eventually you should see “Upload Completed!” at the top of the window. 
   
   
6. If you want the media to remain private (only you can see it), click Go To Media or Go To My Media; if you are ready to share the Media, click Save and then click Published and select the location(s) to which you want the media published.
