iClicker has the ability to sync your grades (from participation or performance points) to the bCourses gradebook. 

  1. Navigate to instructor.iclicker.com and click on “Gradebook” on the left-hand side. You should see the performance and participation points for each student’s response to your polls.
  2. Before syncing it back to the gradebook, make sure your settings are correct by navigating to Settings and clicking on the Integrations tab.
  3. Under Grade Sync Settings, select how you want to sync your students’ grades to either: 
    1. A total combined score in a single column in bCourses 
    2. Individual activity scores in separate columns (this creates a new assignment in bCourses for each session that you conducted).
  4. Click Save
  5. Click Gradebook again on the left-hand navigation. 
  6. Next to “Overview” on the top-left corner, click on “Details”. This shows you the columns for each individual session. 
  7. To rename the activity, click on the blue title of the column and it will show a popup called “Activity Details” 
  8. Click on the rectangle next to Activity Name and enter your preferred title for the activity. Note: it is important to do this renaming in iClicker rather than bCourses as it will sync and override what you will enter in the bCourses gradebook.
  9. Click Save.
  10. Click “Sync Grades” on the top-right corner.
  11. A pop-up will appear showing all of your activities. Click on the checkbox to select which activities you want to send to your bCourses gradebook.
  12. Click Sync.
  13. It should read “Sync Successful” once finished. Click Close.
  14. Navigate to your bCourses gradebook and you should find new columns that correspond to the iClicker grade. Navigating to Assignments will also show you the assignments created for those grades corresponding to the polls.
