A knowledge base article about How do I create quizzes in bCourses? provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal
To create a quiz with individual questions, please see How do I create a quiz with individual questions? You can create all quizzes this way; but if you plan on reusing quiz questions or want to randomize questions, using question groups and question banks is recommended.
Question banks allow instructors to save and organize quiz questions that will be available for use on any specific quiz. See What are question banks? for more details on what a question bank is.
Question groups are groups of questions within a quiz that are randomized for each student taking the quiz. Question groups are useful if you want to prevent cheating on a quiz by giving all students slightly different questions.
