A knowledge base article about CalNet 2-Step: Enrolling a Tablet provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal

- Download the Duo Mobile app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
- Ensure your tablet has a camera to scan the QR activation code
- Log in to mycalnet.berkeley.edu on a separate computer or laptop
Enrolling the Tablet

- Choose Duo Device Manager
- Authenticate with an existing device or backup code to proceed
- Select Add a New Device once inside the Duo portal
- Choose Tablet from the list of device types
- Select the operating system (iOS or Android) for your tablet
- Click I have Duo Mobile installed on the computer screen
Completing Enrollment

Once enrolled, you can approve 2-Step requests via Duo Push if your tablet is connected to Wi-Fi. If you are offline, you can still Generate a Passcode within the Duo app by tapping the Berkeley entry to see a single use passcode.
