The ability to remote into your managed virtual private server (VPS) is not enabled by default. You can request remote access by submitting a support request to win-ticket@berkeley.edu. Be sure to include the name of the server(s), why you want remote access, and a list of the people who need access.
Remote access requests will be reviewed on a case by case basis. Shadow sessions, file shares, or the ability to restart services remotely may be offered as alternative solutions.
