A knowledge base article about Where can I find my Zoom Recordings? provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal
Read below to learn how to locate Cloud recordings, recover deleted Cloud recordings, or locate local recordings.
Check your Zoom Recordings tab for a list of your active recordings made in Zoom Cloud. Effective January 6, 2021, Zoom Cloud recordings will only be saved in Zoom for 30 days due to high storage costs. Please download your recordings to your computer if you wish to retain them longer term.
For a list of recommended storage options, see: IT - What are my recording and storage options for Zoom meetings and webinars?
Zoom allows you to recover a recording within 30 days of deletion. If your recordings have already been deleted, you can retrieve recordings from your trash within 30 days of deletion: Recover a deleted cloud recording – Zoom Help Center
Zoom will send an automatic notification to you once your recordings are within 7 days of being deleted permanently. If you delete the recording from the trash or if the recording is in the trash for 30 days; it will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Alternatively, if you recorded using the Local recording option, you can check your Local Zoom Recordings tab for a list of recordings that are accessible from the computer on which they were recorded. For help locating local recordings, see: Finding and viewing local recordings – Zoom Help Center
