Your user account is your identity on GitHub@Berkeley, and utilizes your CalNet ID as your user account name. You may only have one user account, but you may be a member of multiple Organizations.

An Organization is a shared account where groups of people can collaborate across many projects at once. Organizations offer team-based repository permissions. Owners and administrators can manage member access to the Organization's data and projects.
