What are the operating hours of the BearBuy system?

As an online application, the BearBuy system is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (including weekends and Holidays). With regards to approval and workflow however, several exceptions should be noted.

Operating and process hours of the BearBuy system

• Access to BearBuy for all users is available 24/7 unless in the case of either announced or unannounced downtime.

• Workflow processing of orders (vouchering of Purchase Orders by Disbursements, Org Node Approval, etc.) occur only during normal work hours.
• Data generally interfaces to BFS from BearBuy within 5 minutes, except:
  • When the BFS servers are rebooted nightly from 9:15PM to 9:45PM.
  • COA and Speedtype update and Profile Management Changes are sent nightly.
  • PO closures are sent on Saturday, and are reflected in BAIRS the following Monday.
