Using Watch Lists

 

Watch lists allow multiple users to subscribe to email notifications sent about requested items. To receive these notifications, users must have an email address defined in their user record or enter an email address into the watch list email field.

Use these steps to add watchers to a Requested Item's Watch list field.

Adding Watchers

1. From the left-hand menu go to My Items.

2. In the RITM list find the RITM you want someone to receive email notifications about.

3. Click the RITM number to go to the Requested Item page.

4. In the Watch list field, expand the watch list by clicking the lock icon.

 
5. Select users using the controls described in this table.

Function

  Add the current user.

  Remove the highlighted user.

  Open the highlighted user's record (active only when a user record exists).

 Open a slushbucket to add or remove multiple users.

  Collapse or expand the watch list.

  Open a reference list to select a single user.

Enter an email address for users who are not in the User table or do not have an email     address defined in their user record.

 

View Watch Items


          1.
 From the left-hand menu go to Watched Items.

 

2. In the RITM list find the RITM you want to view.

3. Click the plus (+) sign in the Stage  column to see the status of this item.
