View Your Drive Storage Usage

Audience

 

Both your My Drive and Shared Drives are subject to the Google Account Storage limits. If you want to understand how much storage you or your Shared Drive has used, follow the directions below. 

My Drive

Shared Drive

  1. Navigate to your Google Drive
  2. Expand the Shared drives item in the left sidebar. 
  3. Double-click your Shared Drive to open.
  4. Click View details (little i in a circle) in the upper right hand corner to open the Details panel.

  5. Scroll down to view Storage used under Drive details. Note: If no storage amount appears, your usage is below the limit.

Requesting More Storage

You can request more storage for your individual account or a Shared Drive. Please refer to Google Drive: Available Options and Requests for more information.
