A knowledge base article about Zoom browser add-on vs. extension provided by the UC Berkeley IT Service Hub - Knowledge Portal
There are multiple browser extensions / add-ons for Zoom.
We recommend you de-install the older Zoom Chrome Extension
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zoom-scheduler/kgjfgplpablkjnlkjmjdecgdpfankdle?hl=en-US
and use the Zoom Google Suite Add-on instead

Troubleshooting tips:
1. I click the 'Make it a Zoom Meeting' button and receive the following error message: You cannot log into your Zoom account using this method. Contact your IT administrator for instructions. (2,025)
Answer: This is because you aren't logged into the gSuite add-on. In your browser, usually in the upper right corner next to the address bar, click on the Zoom Scheduler icon and sign in. Once you enter your CalNet ID and authenticate you will be able to use the browser Zoom scheduler.
