How to Live Stream Meetings and Webinars in Zoom
Note: The service you choose to livestream from will generally have a 20 second delay and live streaming users' comments and audio/video will not be seen in the Zoom.
All UC Berkeley Zoom Licensed Zoom accounts are eligible to use this service without administrator assistance. Please read below to learn how to use.
Live Streaming Webinars:
- You will need a Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account with a webinar add-on license
- 1. Start the webinar
- 2. In host controls, click more
- Select the live stream service you would like to use


Live Streaming Meetings:
- Note: The host will need a Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise account
- 1. Start the meeting
- 2. In host controls, click more
- Select the live stream service you would like to use


YouTube Live
- Enable on Youtube by logging in
- Go to https://www.youtube.com/features to enable default features and verify phone number
- Once verified, enabling your live stream could take up to 24 hours to prepare before your meeting or webinar
Facebook Live
- Enable on Facebook by logging in
- Choose where you want to post your live video
- Choose how to create a live video. You can go live using your camera, a streaming software, or a paired encoder.
- Click Go Live
Custom Service
- Before the meeting or webinar, you must set up your custom service in the Zoom web portal
- Under the Live Streaming section, select Add Service
