How do I use a virtual background in Zoom?

Virtual backgrounds are a great way to add some flair, personality, and/or professionalism to your Zoom meeting—provided your device meets Zoom’s system requirements. Background performance depends on lighting conditions and how clearly Zoom can distinguish you from your surroundings.

Note: Virtual Backgrounds will not work when you join the meeting by browser. You must use the Zoom desktop client or a supported mobile Zoom app.
