About

SuiteC can be accessed from any modern browser. It is currently dependent on cross-site tracking in order to make a connection between your identity in bCourses, and your identity in SuiteC. This means that certain browser privacy and security settings may stop it from functioning. See below for specific recommendations for your preferred browser.

Chrome

Create a cookie exception for bCourses:

  1. Open the Chrome preferences menu
  2. Select the "Privacy and Security" menu
  3. Select "Cookies and other site data"
  4. Scroll down to "Sites that can always use cookies"
  5. Click "Add"
  6. Enter "bcourses.berkeley.edu"
  7. Check the box "including third party cookies on this site"

Safari:

Safari does not allow for the creation of specific exceptions, so cross-site tracking must be enabled for all sites in order for SuiteC to work.

  1. Open Safari Preferences
    2. select the "Privacy" tab
    3. un-check "Prevent cross-site browsing"

Firefox:

"Standard" or “Strict” settings will work.

If you use “Custom” settings: Cookies > “Cross-site tracking cookies, and isolate other cross-site cookies”
