How do I switch from Adobe Creative Suite to Adobe Creative Cloud?

If you previously had Adobe Creative Suite installed (versions 5.5 or earlier), you can upgrade to Adobe Creative Cloud by uninstalling Adobe Creative Suite (CS) applications before installing the Creative Cloud apps. Note: If you have Creative Suite Version 6 (CS6) installed you do not need to uninstall before using Adobe Creative Cloud.

 

Instructions to Uninstall:

  1. Deactivate the product by choosing Help > Deactivate in any CS app
  2. Launch the product again. It will launch in trial mode.
  3. Click the 'License this Software' button located at the bottom of the screen
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions and Sign in with your Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise ID (CalNet credentials).
