How do I request non-licensed software?

The Software @ Berkeley website publishes software that is available to the UC Berkeley campus, that has either been funded by the IT Productivity Suite, Student Tech Fund, or paid for directly by individual units or a consortium. 

If you are interested in purchasing software that is not currently listed or available in the Software Catalog, you have a few options:

Individual Use

Follow your departmental processes to purchase for your individual use by checking with your manager or procurement officer. 

Buy a license for the campus

If your group or department purchases an enterprise license that covers the larger campus community, and you wish to pass it along for campus use, please contact software@berkeley.edu so we can add the software to our catalog, if appropriate.

Build a case for a consortium or centrally funded campus-wide license
